Full Send Triathlon Sweeps Team Titles at USA Triathlon National Championships

CLEVELAND, Ohio — Full Send Triathlon earned its first and second-ever Club National Championships at the USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships, held on August 10-11 in Cleveland, Ohio. Full Send won the Olympic Distance Male Division 1 category on Saturday, and followed that up with another win in the Sprint Distance Male Division 1 category on Sunday.

The Club scoring procedure is as follows:

“Divisions separated by number of athletes completing the race. Scores tabulated “cross-country” style: the 3 best placing competitors across all age groups have their places in their respective age group combined. Low score wins” (USA Triathlon).

The three scorers for Full Send in the Olympic Distance race on Saturday were Justin Lippert (1st place in 20-24 age group), Cody Forman (6th place in 20-24), and Tyler Woodward (4th place 25-29) for a total team score of 11 points. Team Psycho Triathlete came in second, and US Military Endurance Sports third with scores of 24 and 26 respectively.

Point earners for Full Send in the Sprint Distance race on Sunday consisted of Benjamin Stone (6th place 20-24), Cody Forman (7th place 20-24), and Tyler Woodward (4th place 25-29), for a total team score of 17 points. D3 Multisport came in second, and DC Triathlon Club third with scores of 23 and 28 points respectively.
